THE BIG QUESTION MARK

The Big Question Mark is a free interactive installation by Diana Bell launched in Edinburgh August 2014.

The Big Question Mark invites people to go on a symbolic journey. They are asked questions about their journey and invited to write their thoughts in their preferred language.

Here is a short video of the Big Question Mark:

This is the Big Question, we are all going on a journey, but before you set out:

Where do you come from? Where do you feel is home? Where do you belong? Where are your roots?

The houses are placed in the circle to be part of the installation:

How will you know when you have arrived? What have you learned on the way?

Everyone is invited to write something about their life on a small wooden square – anything at all and place it at the end of the question mark.
