A Seat of Learning

The inspiration for this sculpture was the awesome accumulation of human knowledge and what we humans do with it. Sometimes we use our knowledge wisely; sometimes unwisely... and sometimes we just sit on it.
The sculpture is in cold cast bronze and was cast from real books. Every detail is visible except for the text on the page.
